The Maryland State Bar Association, through the Young Lawyers Section, with the Wills for Heroes Foundation, on September 30, 2017, sponsored free wills, advance directives and powers of attorneys for first responders including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, corrections officers, and probation officers. Attorneys volunteered their time to assist many of the Charles County first responders and their families seeking help with wills for no fee or charge.
